Dr. Richard Sun
Dr. Richard Sun is a distinguished and highly respected dentist, that has been serving the dental needs of the DC metro area for over 20 years now.  He received his BS in Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and continued his studies toward a dental doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago Dental School.  While at dental school, Dr. Sun was selected to a periodontal externship focusing on periodontal surgery. 

Dr. Sun’s personal approach to dentistry, along with his detailed pursuit of excellence has established him as a health care provider that you can trust and depend on for the utmost quality of care.  He has been recognized as one of the top dentists in the Washington DC Area designated by Washingtonian Magazine and America’s “Top Dentist” by the Consumer’s Research Council.  Along with publishing various articles in local newpapers, he finds great reward in volunteering for such organizations as Mission of Mercy.

Dr. Sun stresses advanced education to pursue the latest techiniques and technologies in both general and cosmetic dentistry.  His participation and passion allows him to provide the most comprehensive care, from simple fillings to implant placement. 

Dr. Sun prides himself on really listening to every patient, and forming treatment plans to fit there individual needs.  He views every patient, as a patient for life and values there commitment to proper care.  Dr. Sun is fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin.

Dr. Sun’s life is highlighted by his beautiful wife and 3 lovely daughters. 

He enjoys playing sports like basketball, golf and tennis.  Is an avid traveler and cherishes every minute he gets to spend with his family.

Dr. Kelley Hu
Dr. Rudan Zhuo
Dr. Rudan Zhuo was born and raised in Fuzhou, China. She attended University of Maryland College Park and earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and minored in Psychology. She continued her education as a dental hygienist at the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 8 years. Then, Dr. Zhuo pursued her dream as a dentist by attending the LECOM School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and graduated in the top 15% of the class. Dr. Zhuo received Exceptional Community Service Award.
Dr. Zhuo is enthusiastic in providing exceptional dental services to patients of all ages. She is active in dental public health and outreach services in the community. She regularly attend Mission of Mercy for missionary dentistry work and had traveled to Thailand for dental missionary trip. She is an active member of ADA.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zhuo enjoys singing, dancing, painting, cooking, and hang out with friends and family.
Dr. Zijuan Fan
Dr. Zijuan Fan
Dr. Zijuan Fan, DDS, developed a deep appreciation for science and healthcare early on. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Emory University in Georgia, where she built a strong foundation and a desire to make a meaningful impact through clinical care.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she received comprehensive training in all aspects of general dentistry. During her time there, Dr. Fan was actively involved in patient care, outreach activities, and collaborative clinical learning—experiences that shaped her patient-first approach.
Dr. Fan is committed to delivering gentle, thorough, and personalized dental care. She strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their oral health journey. Whether she’s helping someone maintain a healthy smile or restoring their confidence, Dr. Fan brings compassion and excellence to every appointment.
When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Fan enjoys traveling to new places, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, and spending time on creative projects like crafting and DIY. She believes that curiosity, creativity, and balance help her bring even more joy and empathy to her practice.
